PATERNITY
Paternity is the legal state of being a father, which may be biologically and also recognized as legally. This helps the father secure their legal rights over the child and determine such things as child support and visitation rights.
Establishing paternity is extremely important for both fathers and mothers, and once established the father’s name will be placed on the child’s birth certificate. The Court is then able to enforce visitation rights and establish an appropriate sum for child support. The process may involve important legal issues and complex paternity proceedings, so it is important to have an attorney family with the process.
