Mark Rush Williamson is a family law attorney and founder of Williamson Family Law. Mr. Williamson represents clients throughout Texas in matters involving mediation, asset and debt division, child custody, child support, divorce, grandparents’ rights, modifications, paternity, premarital and post marital agreements, relocation, and temporary orders. He has experience representing individuals, couples, and business owners. His uncommon expertise and exceptional record of litigating many different types of divorces, including contested and high net worth divorces involving complicated asset allocations, utilizes his creative mind and dedication to advocate for his clients.

In his more than 35 years as a practicing attorney, Mark has guided many Texas residents through complex family law issues. He keeps his client base small to provide personal attention to each client and work toward the best possible resolution to their unique cases.

Williamson was born in Dallas, Texas and attended Skyline High School. In 1982, Mr. Williamson graduated from Baylor University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He earned his law degree from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law in 1985. He is qualified to practice law before all Texas state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, and the U.S. Tax Court.

When Mark is not advocating for his clients, he is advocating for horses. He enjoys locating horses that found themselves in auctions, rehabs them, and later finds them appropriate and loving homes. You will also find Mark out on the trails around the Dallas and Ft. Worth metroplex vast trail system. Mark is the proud father of two grown daughters, and educator and realtor, that live in Dallas, and a son who served in the military and is now a missionary in Budapest.
